May Mood
A moment for mauve
May is almost over and I honestly don’t know where it went. It came and went so quickly that I can hardly remember what we even did.
That feels like the theme of life right now. Everything is moving fast. The school year flew by, the last four months with Eden flew by, and most days I have to stop and think about what day it even is. Life lately feels like it’s being played on fast forward, so needless to say, I’m ready for the slow-motion version.
I’m excited for the slower days of summer. Less schedules, less routines, more being in the moment. More slow mornings and long afternoons and nowhere urgent to be.
A big part of this month has been planning an activation in Copenhagen for 3 Days of Design with Openhouse Magazine for Devon Liedtke and Portraits of Self. I’m so excited to launch it in a few weeks. More to come soon.
We’ve been planning little nosegays for the launch party, so flowers have been on my mind a lot lately. Some of the mood board colors have started spilling into everything else too. In my mind, May is mauve. (The alliteration helps!) Pink, but mixed with soft taupes and warm neutrals that somehow feel soft and rich at the same time.
I’m leaning into butters and browns, dusty rose, and soft creams. It’s already hot here in Barcelona, so linen and poplin have been on repeat. A few favorites are below:
Perfect for a posey! Our bud vase in brown sheen is delightful for a single spring stem.
This Marni shirt is so cute with the little embroidery detail.
These from Margaux look beautiful.
Sunglasses for sunny Barcelona! I love this shape from Bottega.
This shirt recently caught my eye. I love it with a trouser or evens jeans for a night out.
Another crowd-favorite from our collection: the Cola Onyx bowl. Whether it’s styled as a centerpiece on your coffee table, or as a catchall by your front door, it impresses every time.
I really dig this slouchy Toteme bucket bag.
Perfect for the mauve mood - this perfect silky set. I love this paired with something more masculine like a trench or barn coat.
I love the silhouette of this skirt and think it’d be great with a white t-shirt and a pair of flats or chunky sandals.
With Love,
Devon
