March Mood
Spring unfurls
Baby Eden is almost two months old, and with spring only days away, I can feel myself emerging from a long winter hibernation. It isn’t lost on me that just as the trees are beginning to bud and the bushes show their first signs of new growth, I am finally starting to find my footing again too.
Two months in, I’m settling into a new rhythm of long, sun-drenched walks, now with a stroller, and it feels a bit like my own personal spring awakening. And as Eden’s name suggests, “delight” or “paradise,” I’m taking delight in this new normal, this new season.
With fresh blooms in every corner of the house, even my littles seem to sense the shift. There’s a kind of collective waking up happening here. I find myself drawn to soft yellows and vibrant greens, craving the tactile comfort of crisp cottons and creamy linens.
While the April showers wait in the wings, I’m soaking up every drop of golden light and dreaming of the warmth to come. As the Portraits of Self card reminds me, there is wisdom in patience, and I’m leaning into the slow, loving work of tending to this new season of life.
Now, a few favorites for spring:
This men’s shirt from Todd Synder looks comfortable yet structured, perfect as I ease back into work
I’ve had my eye on this Reformation bag for a while now
This color green is so springy and I love a short-sleeve knit this time of year
Another from Leoní, this sweater looks beyond cozy, perfect for cool evenings
A trench is a must for spring, and I’ve heard great things about Rue Sophie
These pants speak for themselves
I’ve been wanting a pair of these flats from The Row, and this ‘dijon’ color is perfection
These Chimi glasses are perfect for sunny days ahead
Dôen does Spring with this Henri top in ‘sunshine prairie rose’
Happy spring!
With Love,
Devon
